Website delivery and security

When you access this website, technical connection data is processed to deliver the requested pages and protect the website and its infrastructure. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, requested resource, referrer, browser and device information, protocol information and response status.

The processing is necessary for our legitimate interests in providing a reliable and secure website, preventing misuse and diagnosing technical problems under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Our own website container has access logging disabled. Technical data may nevertheless be processed temporarily by our content delivery, security and hosting providers as required to provide their services and protect their networks.

Emails and enquiries

If you contact us by email, we process your contact details, message content, attachments and related metadata in order to respond and manage the enquiry.

Depending on the nature of the enquiry, processing is based on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR or on our legitimate interests in business communication and relationship management under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

General enquiries are deleted or anonymised no later than 24 months after the matter is concluded, unless the information becomes part of an ongoing business relationship or must be retained for legal, accounting or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

International transfers

Cloudflare operates a global network and data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and other transfer mechanisms described in Cloudflare’s Data Processing Addendum.

Proton is established in Switzerland and states that Proton Mail infrastructure is located in Switzerland, Germany or Norway. Transfers are handled in accordance with the applicable data protection framework.

Cookies and analytics

We do not use audience analytics, advertising technologies or marketing cookies on this website. At the date of this policy, the website does not set a first-party cookie during a normal visit.

Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie in specific circumstances, for example when protecting the website from malicious traffic. Such cookies are used only for security and service delivery, not for advertising.

Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Technical data handled by service providers is retained according to the relevant service configuration, contractual terms and security requirements.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.
